Doris Hassan
Counseling Psychologist
Doris Hassan was born on 3 May in Niger State, Nigeria. She is a Christian and an indigene of the Gbagyi-speaking community in Niger State. She is fluent in English, Hausa, and Gbagyi.
Doris holds a bachelor's degree in Counseling Psychology from Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai. In addition to her academic qualifications, she has enhanced her professional capacity through training in Human Resource Management, Project Management, Disaster Risk Reduction, Monitoring and Evaluation, Human Temperament Management, and Entrepreneurship. These experiences have broadened her knowledge, strengthened her professional skills, and deepened her understanding of human behavior and development.
Growing up in an extended family instilled in Doris the values of determination, resilience, and perseverance, which continue to shape her personal and professional journey. She is self-motivated, responsible, and passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others.
Beyond her professional interests, Doris has a deep appreciation for the arts and creativity. She enjoys expressing her ideas, connecting with people through meaningful conversations, and building relationships that inspire growth and understanding. She is driven by a desire to touch lives, bring smiles to people's faces, and contribute positively to her community. As she continues to grow, Doris remains committed to learning, personal development, and creating lasting impact through service and compassion.
